Multiplying

Discipleship and starting new churches has been on our hearts and the focus of our lives for over 20 years. From the time God first challenged us in 1997 to become church planters in Minnesota, to the time God moved us in 2006 to plant a church and train other church planters in Odessa, Ukraine, God has lead us step by step. In Odessa we were also able to help train and send almost 100 missionaries. So not only has church planting captured our hearts, but missions also. As many have seen, ministry for us has been an incredible, difficult, joy-filled journey. We love God’s plan and we love training and discipling pastors and church leaders. 

Christianity (all denominations) is by far the fastest growing faith on earth, growing at 6.9% a year! (Islam 2.7%, non-religious 2.8%.)* An estimated 178,000 people come to Christ every day around the world! 3,500 new churches are started every day! That means 7,000 new church leaders are needed every day to care for the growing church. We are not keeping up!** Where will these leaders come from? Not from seminaries. Seminaries cannot keep up. What the growing church needs is to multiply church leaders who are equipped and discipled to multiply more leaders who in turn, multiply more leaders, who in turn multiply more leaders. This is what the Apostle Paul did. This is what we will be joining Entrust to help accomplish. (www.entrust4.org)

As Kim and I transition from working in Ukraine with Living Hope Church and International Messengers, to working with Entrust around the world, we see God opening up tremendous opportunities for us to continue to be involved in discipling and training church leaders, but

now on a global scale. As the new Chief Operating Officer of Entrust, I will be serving all of the operations and staff of Entrust which includes serving staff from over 70 households in over 30 countries, leading, pastoring, coaching, supporting and expanding the work God is leading Entrust to do. Our focus is training church leaders to train church leaders, multiplying generations of leaders for multiplying churches, especially in restricted countries.

It is where God is leading us, but we need your continued help. Moving back to the US and working with this global initiative in over 30 countries will increase our financial need by over $2,000 a month! Most of this will be travel expenses.
